Accomplishments

14 NAIA Scholar Teams during the 2024-25 academic year (announced during NAIA Awards Day on Sept. 15, 2025)
Landed at No. 38 in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup fall standings update
Announced the jersey number retirement of former Montreat College women's basketball student-athlete Jennifer (Brooks) Kinninger during the 2026 Cavalier Court of Excellence Banquet
Honored 14 current student-athletes at the 2026 Cavalier Court of Excellence, where women's track & field student-athlete Emma Barnes was named the Cavalier of Excellence Award recipient
Montreat went 8-0 in head-to-head team competitions on Feb. 20, 2026 (Baseball won 6-4 and 5-4 at Truett McConnell University; Softball won 3-2 and 8-7 versus Johnson & Wales University Charlotte; Men's Tennis won 6-1 versus Truett McConnell University; Women's Tennis won 5-2 versus Truett McConnell University; Women's Lacrosse won 19-7 at Brevard College; Men's Lacrosse won 13-10 at Missouri Baptist University)

Won 37 Athlete of the Week awards during 2025-26, the most in a single year in the modern era of Montreat College Athletics
The Montreat College Athletics Department placed fourth with 254.5 points in the 2025-26 AAC Duard Walker All-Sports Trophy standings
Heather Murphy became the first NAIA women's national champion and the first NAIA two-time national champion in Montreat College history with her 10k and 5000m titles at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships
Ended at No. 51 in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup final standings, marking the athletic department's third-best finish in school history
Montreat College's varsity student-athletes combined for a 3.29 GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, up from a 3.21 GPA in 2024-25
