MONTREAT, N.C.— The Montreat College volleyball team announced its upcoming 2025 regular season slate late last month. Not only does the Cavaliers' schedule feature 19 matches, but also all 19 matches take place against Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opposition.
 
Following some early preseason action, the Cavs begin AAC and regular season competition on Sept. 19 versus Columbia College. The match marks the first of two home contests in the month of September, with the other coming against Spartanburg Methodist College on the 30^th. Montreat hits the road three times in between those home dates, including once for a matchup against the AAC preseason favorite, Reinhardt University.
 
A heavy road stretch kicks off the month of October as the Cavaliers leave campus for five of their initial six contests. Montreat's lone home match during its extended away stretch features a clash against the reigning AAC regular season and tournament champion, Columbia International University.
 
The regular season concludes in more familiar surroundings, with six of the final eight matches featuring the Cavs as the home team. Montreat hosts Milligan on Oct. 16 before playing three consecutive home contests from Oct. 24-28. The Cavaliers then close out their 19-match slate in early November versus Reinhardt and Brenau University.
 
With a solid showing in league play, Montreat aims to be one of the 10 teams competing in the 2025 AAC Women's Volleyball Tournament, which is set for Nov. 13-15 at the Marriott MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
