WALESKA, Ga. — Three Montreat College women's golfers received Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Academic Team honors according to a release from the league office on Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, one Cavalier captured the squad's annual AAC Champions of Character Team recognition.
 
Abbey Coyle, Sara Rothrock and Hannah Stewart garnered All-Academic Team status for the 2025-26 season, while Rothrock also landed on the Champions of Character Team.
 
To qualify for the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the honorees were selected by each program's head coach.

The Montreat College women's golf team closed out its 2025-26 competition schedule in late April when it ended seventh out of 11 squads at the AAC Direct Qualifier in Acworth, Ga. The seventh-place finish marked the program's best at the conference's spring championship since 2021.
