NEW ORLEANS — For the fourth consecutive week, the Montreat College men's track & field team appeared as a top-10 squad in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI). According to a release from the organization on Tuesday morning, the Cavaliers remained at No. 10 in the eighth edition of this season's TFRI.
The Cavs registered 159.28 points in the poll, 2.66 points better than 11

Four Cavaliers combined to possess six top-10 showings across the NAIA, including two of the association's best times.
Ryan Stade leads the pack in the 5000m with an outstanding 13:53.97 performance, and he also owns the NAIA's third-fastest 10k effort at 29:46.86.
Nathan Cremin holds the Cavs' other association-best mark, doing so with a record-setting 1:46.45 time in the 800m. The Limerick, Ireland native ranks ninth in the 1500m as well (3:48.00).
Brock Lauer and
Hugo Petat-Hemono delivered all-star showings in the 3000m steeplechase earlier this year. The former is responsible for the NAIA's fifth-quickest time in the event (9:11.37), while the latter's 9:11.70 performance stands as the sixth-fastest effort.
