KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) unveiled its accepted qualifiers for the upcoming 2026 NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday morning. Overall, the Montreat College Cavaliers landed entries in six events, setting themselves up for an exciting March in Gainesville, Fla.
On the men's side, nine total Cavs are lined up to potentially participate in four events.
Nathan Cremin enters the meet with the top 1000m time, nearly four seconds better than the second-fastest athlete in the field. Meanwhile,
Ryan Stade owns the eighth-best 3000m mark among those running down in Gainesville.
Brock Lauer will also represent the Cavaliers, doing so in the 5000m, where he possesses the 12
th-best effort of those competing.
Cremin, Stade,
Jordan Pippin,
Hugo Petat-Hemono,
Cameron Rice,
Senor Glenn,
Jackson Mace-Maynard and
Yannick Kabera are all options for Montreat in the men's distance medley relay. The Cavs have the fifth-quickest performance of the 22 DMR entries at nationals.
Macy Parks and
Heather Murphy will compete at the national championships on the women's side. The former is slated to run in the 1000m, where she enters with the 17
th-fastest showing. Meanwhile, Murphy owns the second-best 5000m time as she aims to chase down another NAIA All-American honor.
