KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) revealed the fourth edition of its 2026 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI) on Tuesday. According to the release, the Montreat College Cavaliers picked up a few additional points in the TFRI while standing still at No. 12 nationally.
In total, the Cavs accrued 78.16 points, 0.97 points better than No. 13 St. Thomas (Fla.) but 0.54 points fewer than No. 11 Life (Ga.). Montreat is currently the highest-rated Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) institution in the TFRI, as well as the fifth-best rated South Region program.
Five top-10 marks buoyed the Cavaliers to their national standing, including a pair of the NAIA's top results.
Nathan Cremin owns both the fastest 800m (1:48.30) and the quickest 1000m (2:24.39) times in the NAIA this season. He also possesses the third-best 600m performance (1:18.90).

Jordan Pippin,
Brock Lauer and
Ryan Stade combined for the NAIA's third-quickest distance medley relay in 2026 (9:59.13). Stade also contributed the seventh-ranked 3000m showing (8:22.89) and the 28
th-best 5000m (14:53.79) to round out the Cavs' points tally.
