GREENWOOD, Ind.— Five Montreat College student-athletes appeared on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Team according to a release from the organization Tuesday afternoon.

Ryan Stade,
Ethan Stamey,
Nathan Stamey and
Wyatt Wilson were the five honorees selected by the CSC. In total, 212 NAIA student-athletes captured the annual recognition.
To be eligible for nomination, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and have placed inside the top 25 of a conference event. Each track & field/cross country program received a maximum of five representatives for 2024-25.

Stade and
Ethan Stamey were also picked as CSC Academic All-America® finalists. They will advance to the national ballot, which is to be voted on by CSC members. Academic All-America® winners will be announced on July 16.
The Montreat men's track & field/cross country program ended the 2024-25 academic year at No. 21 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association's (USTFCCCA) Jack Hazen Program of the Year standings.
