MONTREAT, N.C.— Earlier this month, Montreat College Athletics shared its ticketing plans for Cavalier varsity home sporting events during the 2024-25 academic year. In addition to its online single-game general admission and sport-specific season tickets, Montreat is also offering an all-sports pass that's good for up to four family members who live in the same household.
Cavs fans wanting to attend individual games can continue to purchase general admission tickets in advance, as well as at the athletic facility, via
www.montreatcavaliers.com/tickets or the HomeTown Fan app. Attendees at least 10 years old will need an online ticket to receive admittance to a varsity home event. Tickets will be available for purchase as early as two weeks prior to the contest's scheduled date.
Montreat is also offering online season ticket options for most sports. Fans who wish to attend the majority of, if not all, home varsity events for a specific sport can purchase season tickets online via the athletics website. These season ticket options include general admission tickets for a sport's home varsity contests at a discounted rate when compared to purchasing single-game tickets for each individual matchup.
The final ticket package Montreat College Athletics is offering during 2024-25 is the all-sports pass. Unlike the single-game and season ticket options, the all-sports pass applies to a household of up to four family members rather than a singular individual. The all-sports pass gains the holder admittance to all home varsity contests during the 2024-25 academic year for just $150. Those interested in purchasing an all-sports pass should reach out to Director of Athletics Garrett Jones via email at
gjones@montreat.edu.
Montreat College Athletics plans to employ online ticketing for the following home varsity sporting events during the 2024-25 school year: men's and women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's wrestling, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball and softball.
Children under the age of 10 do not need to purchase a ticket for entry to a Cavalier varsity home athletic event. Montreat faculty, staff and students also do not need a ticket for contests as they will receive free admission by showing their Montreat College ID at the ticketing gate.
Free general admission will be offered for a select few varsity regular season sporting events this fall, such as women's soccer versus Spartanburg Methodist College on Aug. 17, as well as all volleyball and men's and women's soccer contests during Homecoming and Family Weekend (Sept. 20-21). Online tickets will need to be purchased for the remainder of each sport's home games.
