KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) revealed its NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025 fall sports calendar on Tuesday. According to the national release, 42 Montreat College student-athletes across five programs garnered the annual academic recognition.
 
Women's soccer led all fall Cavalier athletic teams with a resounding 17 honorees. Women's cross country captured the second-most nods with eight, followed by men's soccer and volleyball with seven and six, respectively. Men's cross country saw four of its student-athletes secure NAIA Scholar-Athlete status.
 
To be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale prior to the time of nomination. Additionally, a student-athlete must appear on the eligibility certificate for his or her sport and have attended his or her current institution for at least one full calendar year.
