MONTREAT, N.C. — The Montreat College cycling program is gearing up for another campaign, its third in program history, after sharing its 2026 mountain bike schedule last month. The Cavaliers look to build on last season's success with five weekends of competition this fall.

The Cavs commence their 2026 campaign on Aug. 29-30 at Truett McConnell University in Cleveland, Ga., before reaching the busiest month of their slate, one that features three competitions across a four-week stretch.

Montreat opens September with a visit to Lindsey Wilson College on the 5th and 6th before taking a week off. Not long after, the Cavaliers jump back into action on Sept. 19-20 at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C. The month ultimately concludes with the Ride Rock Creek Championships, hosted by Brevard College and Warren Wilson College, in Zirconia, N.C., on Sept. 26-27.

The season ends with its marquee event as the Cavs head to Powderhorn, Colo. to participate at the MTB Collegiate Nationals on Oct. 9-11. Montreat aims to battle the nation's best riders in pursuit of success on the biggest collegiate mountain bike stage.
