WALESKA, Ga. — The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) released its All-AAC softball awards list on Monday evening, and the Montreat College softball team hauled in a plethora of academic and character honors. In addition to one spot on the Champions of Character Team, the Cavaliers also corralled 25 placements on the All-Academic Team.

Abigail Wyatt represented the Cavs on the AAC All-Academic Team. Meanwhile, Henderson also received AAC Champions of Character Team status.
To qualify for the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the honorees were selected by each program's head coach.

The Montreat College softball team finished the 2026 regular season with a 20-24 (8-18 AAC) record, tied for 12
th-best in the conference standings.
