BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C.— The Montreat College women's soccer team revealed its 2025 regular season schedule earlier this summer, one that includes 16 countable contests and seven official matchups at Pulliam Stadium.
 
A home preseason scrimmage on Aug. 16 gets the Cavaliers ready for three tough season-opening opponents. Each of Montreat's initial three regular season matches feature a team that made the national tournament in 2024. The Cavs begin the campaign and their home slate on Aug. 23 versus Georgia Gwinnett College before heading to Life University and Truett McConnell University the ensuing two Saturdays. Montreat's match at TMU also serves as the squad's Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opener.
 
Following their battles against stiff nonconference competition and the reigning AAC champions, the Cavaliers remain on the road for the majority of September. From Aug. 30 through Sept. 23, the Cavs play five of their six matches away from Black Mountain, N.C. The lone home contest during that extended road stretch falls on Sept. 13 versus AAC newcomer Spartanburg Methodist College.
 
The travel schedule flips in Montreat's favor as October approaches, with four of the next five matches taking place at Pulliam Stadium. Reinhardt University comes to town on Sept. 27 for Homecoming & Family Weekend, while Columbia College, Milligan University and Tennessee Wesleyan University also visit campus during the initial half of October.
 
A trio of consecutive road clashes sets up senior day for the Cavaliers. Montreat hosts Johnson University on Oct. 25 as part of its festivities. Not only will the Cavs look for a strong finish to the regular season, but they also hope to establish stellar positioning heading into the postseason. With a superb conference showing, Montreat hopes to make a run at the AAC Tournament in late October and early November.
