NEW ORLEANS— The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its annual Men's and Women's Track & Field All-Academic Teams and All-Academic Athletes Monday afternoon. According to the organization's release, Montreat College picked up one team honor to go along with 12 individual recognitions.
On the team side, the Montreat women's track & field squad met the necessary requirements to garner USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status. The Cavalier women delivered a superb 3.52 GPA, easily surpassing the award's mandated 3.0 GPA mark.
Individually, 12 Cavs picked up USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete nods.

Dylan Garcia,
Kaylene Manternach,
Heather Murphy,
Macy Parks,
Ali Ray,
Emily Standifer and
Brooke Wiebe represented the Montreat women, while
Ryan Stade and
Ethan Stamey represented the Cavalier men.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete distinction, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, have attended his or her current institution for at least two semesters or three quarters and have achieved an 'A' or 'B' standard in a championship event.

The Montreat women's track & field team ended its 2025 indoor and outdoor seasons in 10
th and eighth, respectively. Both national championship finishes were program-bests. The Montreat men's track & field team concluded the 2025 indoor and outdoor campaigns in a tie for 43
rd and a tie for 62
nd, respectively.
