MONTREAT, N.C.— Following the finalization of grades from the fall and spring semesters, the Montreat College Athletic Department once again saw its student-athletes combine for a grade point average greater than 3.00. Thanks to a 3.20 in the fall and a 3.11 in the spring, the Cavaliers ultimately tallied a 3.16 department-wide GPA in 2024-25.
 
Overall, Montreat's varsity student-athletes notched a 3.21 GPA. The Cavs' female student-athletes dominated in the classroom, registering a 3.47 GPA during the academic year.
 
Women's cross country led all Montreat athletic programs with a 3.82 team GPA. Men's cross country paced the male athletic programs with a 3.49 GPA.
 
In total, 18 of the Cavaliers' teams recorded a GPA of 3.00 or higher.
