WALESKA, Ga.— The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) unveiled its annual men's lacrosse awards Friday evening, and five Montreat College men's lacrosse student-athletes secured a mixture of academic and character honors.
Carson Bowser,
Eli King,
Garrett Thomson and
Xander Walser captured spots on the AAC All-Academic Team. Meanwhile,
Gavin Mottram landed on the AAC Champions of Character Team.
To qualify for the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must hold at least sophomore academic status and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the honorees were chosen by each program's head coach.

The Montreat men's lacrosse team finished its 2025 campaign with a 0-14 (0-8 AAC) record.
