WALESKA, Ga.— According to a release from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Thursday afternoon, the Montreat men's wrestling team placed eight student-athletes on the annual AAC All-Academic and AAC Champions of Character Teams.
Nathan Alley,
Milosz Gargol,
Zeke Grabowski,
Dylan Hogan,
Caleb Johnson-White,
Grant Trotter,
Xander Walser and
Patrick Wlodyga collected AAC All-Academic Team honors. A native of Bushkill, Pa., Hogan also garnered a spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team.
To qualify for AAC All-Academic Team recognition, a student-athlete must hold at least sophomore academic status and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the recipients were chosen by each program's head coach.

Montreat competes on Friday and Saturday at the AAC Men's Wrestling Championships in Marietta, Ga.
