Former Liberty University goalie Ethan Kamholtz, a Penn Yan, New York native, is a 2015 graduate of Virginia's Liberty University where he majored in Sports Management and was a standout in goal for one of the nation's top Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) programs.

Kamholtz, a three-year starter for the Flames, helped the 2013 squad advance to the MCLA semifinals and notch an 18-2 season record. The same year, Kamholtz garnered second team All-American honors. In 2014, he earned  3rd team SELC all-conference accolades. He closed out his undergraduate career as part of a Flames 10-5 squad that advanced to the SELC Division I semifinals.

Prior to his time at Liberty, Kamholtz served as the assistant defensive coordinator and goalie coach for the PNCLL's Western Oregon Wolves. Western Oregon captured their conference championship with Kamholtz directing their defense.

"I came to Montreat for the opportunity to develop as a man spiritually while impacting the lives of young men through our shared faith and passion for lacrosse," said Kamholtz. Â
