BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. — The Montreat College women's soccer team unveiled its schedule for the 2026 season, one that includes 14 countable contests and seven official matchups at Pulliam Stadium.

The Cavaliers open their season with a road stretch, beginning on Aug. 22 at Georgia Gwinnett College, an NAIA National Tournament qualifier from a season ago. The Cavs then travel to Belmont Abbey College on Aug. 29 and Gardner-Webb University on Sept. 7 for a pair of scrimmages, providing valuable experience ahead of league play.

Montreat kicks off both its home slate and Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) schedule on Sept. 12 by welcoming the reigning AAC regular season champion, Truett McConnell University, to Black Mountain, N.C. Four days later, on Sept. 16, the Cavaliers return to their home pitch to host Union Commonwealth University. The Cavs close out the month with a pair of conference contests, traveling on the 19th before heading back home to wrap up September on the 23rd.

The schedule shifts in October, as four of the Cavs' first five matches of the month occur away from home, starting with a trip to Reinhardt University on Oct. 3. Montreat then returns to Pulliam Stadium on Oct. 10 to host Bryan College for Homecoming & Family Weekend prior to hitting the road once again for consecutive league clashes at Milligan University and defending AAC Tournament champion, Tennessee Wesleyan University.

Montreat ends the home portion of its regular-season schedule with three consecutive matches from Oct. 21-28, highlighted by a senior day matchup against Brenau University on Oct. 24. The Cavaliers then conclude the regular season on Oct. 31 at Johnson University, looking to secure a berth in the AAC Tournament and make a postseason run in early November.
