KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The NAIA revealed its Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for 2025 spring sports on Wednesday, and according to the organization's release, Montreat College student-athletes garnered 53 spots across nine teams.
 
Women's track & field led the way for the Cavaliers with 17 honorees. Men's track & field also picked up double-digit Scholar-Athlete nods with 10. Softball and baseball followed closely behind with eight and six, respectively. Women's lacrosse saw five of its student-athletes land the recognition, while women's golf seized three selections and men's lacrosse picked up two. Both men's and women's tennis secured one honoree apiece.
 
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport and have attended their current institution for at least one full year.
