WALESKA, Ga.— The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) announced its annual women's lacrosse awards Thursday evening, and a total of six Cavaliers managed to land spots on the All-Academic and Champions of Character Teams.

Wonhui Choi,
Mallory Franklin,
Ruthann Stout,
Adara Vouriotis and
Grace Wiegand represented the Montreat women's lacrosse program on the AAC All-Academic Team. Wiegand was also selected as the Cavs' nominee for the AAC Champions of Character Team.
To qualify for the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must hold at least sophomore academic status and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Each institution in the league also received one spot on the AAC Champions of Character Team, and the honorees were chosen by each program's head coach.

The Montreat women's lacrosse team concluded its 2025 season earlier today with a defeat against (RV) Georgetown College in the first round of the conference tournament. Following the loss, the Cavaliers ended the year with a 0-13 (0-5 AAC) record.
