The Montreat College athletics department announced the hiring of Tripp Storrs as an assistant baseball coach in June of 2024. With the Cavaliers, Storrs primarily handles responsibilities related to the pitching staff. He enters his second season with the program in 2025-26.
PRIOR TO MONTREAT
Storrs made the short journey to Montreat after serving as the Director of Player Development for the baseball team at East Tennessee State University. He assisted with the program for the 2023-24 school year.
During 2022-23, Storrs helped with baseball at fellow NAIA institution, Lindsey Wilson College. Prior to that stop, he worked with Cleveland State Community College in 2022 and Lee University for the 2021-22 school year. Additionally, Storrs coached the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League during the summer of 2024 and the Hamilton Joes of the Great Lakes League over the summer of 2023.
A native of Cleveland, Tenn., Storrs graduated with an undergraduate degree from Lee University in 2021 and an MBA from Lindsey Wilson in 2023.
