When asked his comments on helping the men's program he said, "I love the game of basketball and appreciate the opportunity to be associated with Montreat College, their coaches, and the players. I look forward to investing into the team and this community. We're expecting big things from this team. The quality of these young men make it a pleasure to coach and teach."
