Holland McCoy was hired by the Montreat College athletics department as the associate head men's and women's track & field coach in June of 2024. She enters her second season with the Cavaliers during the 2025-26 academic year.

- Qualified for six events at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
- Achieved the program's top team placement at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships (10th; 27 points).
- Ranked as high as No. 7 in the USTFCCCA NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index, which is a program record.
- Set or tied 14 outdoor school records.

PRIOR TO MONTREAT
McCoy came to Montreat following time spent at Olivet Nazarene University where she was an assistant coach. Since 2018, McCoy coached jumpers at ONU, growing the roster from 19 to 28 athletes and tallying a combination of seven NAIA All-American performances.
Prior to her stint with the Tigers, McCoy was a graduate assistant at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Minnesota. During the 2016-17 and 2017-18 school years, the Eagles amassed four individual conference champions and a trio of NCCAA All-Americans. For three months in 2015, McCoy served as a volunteer assistant track & field coach at Des Lacs/Burlington High School in Des Lacs, N.D.
In addition to coaching experience, McCoy holds jumping event specialist and strength and conditioning certifications through the USTFCCCA and a USATF Level I certification.
McCoy competed at Hannibal-LaGrange University before her coaching career. As a student-athlete from 2009 to 2013, she qualified for the national meet three different times, earned a pair of conference outstanding field athlete awards and played on the volleyball team.
McCoy received her recreation management degree from Hannibal-LaGrange in 2013 before graduating with a masters in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University of Irvine in 2018. She is currently working to complete an MBA with a concentration in corporate communications at Olivet Nazarene.
