CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The fifth-seeded Montreat College men's tennis team saw its Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament journey come to an end on Tuesday afternoon at the hands of top-seeded and No. 2-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan University, 4-0. Following the result at the Champions Club Tennis Complex in Chattanooga, Tenn., the Cavaliers moved to 8-13 (3-4 AAC), while the Bulldogs improved to 18-2 (7-0 AAC).

Wins at No. 2 and No. 3 enabled TWU to seize the doubles point and open the semifinal with a 1-0 lead. Lucas Descalzi and Vitor Monteiro fell 6-3 on the second court, while Fabrizio Moreno and Youssef Idboufous dropped a 6-1 decision in the third flight. Battling at the top spot, Julian Stolevski and Paul Saemann trailed 4-3 when their doubles clash was halted.
