THOMASVILLE, GA - The Montreat College softball team dropped a pair of games to Thomas University over the weekend.

In the first game, the Cavaliers (0-10, 0-0 AAC) were only able to muster a pair of hits as they were blanked 7-0. Ashlyn Vickers and Karley Yeager picked up hits for Montreat but they were unable to get a run across the plate in the loss.

In the second game, the Nighthawks pounced early and put up eight runs in the first two inning en route to a 9-1 victory. The Cavaliers got on the board in the 5th when an Aly Woody hit knocked in Hunter Campbell for a run but that would be all of the offense for Montreat. Mikki Shelton collected two hits in the loss.
