The day two team score of 313 pushed the Cavaliers back to 7th place as a team.

"The guys fought hard this week," said head coach John Sullivan. "This is one of the tougher courses we play throughout the season. It's exciting to watch their games progress each week.  Each tournament gets us one step closer to where we want to be".

The team will return to action October 19th-20th as they travel to Laurinburg, NC to compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Fall Championship.

"I could not be more proud of the way the guys played this week," said head coach John Sullivan. "The Lord blessed us with an incredible recruiting class and I was very eager to see how they would play in their first outing. We've put a lot of time in preparing and came determined to make a big statement and I think we definitely turned some heads. There's unlimited potential on this team, and while the learning curve and maturation process will take time, I'm very excited about the future of golf here at Montreat."

The men's golf team returns to action October 5th-6th at the Union College Bulldog Invitational in Barbourville, KY.
