MONTREAT, N.C. - Montreat Women's Soccer is proud to announce the signing of Kelly Heckroth for the fall 2013 season. Heckroth comes to Montreat College from Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL and brings with her a wealth of soccer experience and talent to the Cavalier midfield.
MONTREAT, N.C. – The Montreat College Athletic Department hosted their annual athletic awards banquet on Wednesday, May 1st. The coaching staff vote and the athletic department gives out the following awards to (3) male and (3) female athletes each year: Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Athlete of the Year, and the Champion of Character Award. The women's soccer program was represented in all (3) categories this year as sophomore Lauren Cantin was named Montreat College's Female Athlete of the Year and senior Caroline Mellard was named Female Champion of Character and co-winner of Scholar-Athlete of the Year with a 3.95 cumulative GPA.
The Cavalier women's soccer program is excited to announce the signing of United Kingdom native, Naomi Feltham. Feltham is transferring into Montreat as a junior from Feather River Community College where she spent her last two years playing with the Golden Eagles.
