Tony Robinson - Head Coach
Head Coach

Tony Robinson accepted the Men's Golf Head Coaching position on August 1, 2013. Tony is no stranger to Montreat College as he is a 2000 graduate and recently completed his master's degree from Liberty University. He met his wife and best friend, Diane, while attending Montreat as a student. They currently have a son named Sebastian Levi and two furry kids, Weimeraners, Lincoln and Mary Todd. Tony came on board with Montreat College in 2001 and is currently serving as the Director of Admissions and Outreach.

Born and raised in Asheville, NC, he came from an athletic family. His father played in the minor leagues while his brother was All-State performer in football. While in high school, Tony was awarded 2nd team All-State on the hardwood and was an All-Conference performer for basketball and baseball for three years. After high school, Tony attended the University of South Alabama on an athletic scholarship for basketball and baseball. He later transferred to Montreat College.

During his college days at Montreat, Tony was selected twice as an All-Conference performer on the diamond and was an All-American honorable mention his senior year. He was a member of the '98 and '00 Conference Championship Teams for baseball. In '98, the baseball team's record of 48-11 still stands as the best in school's history. He was a three-time All-Academic performer and also received the Brian Anthony Memorial Award for conduct, leadership, and achievement.
