Settlemyre Signing with the Cavs
 
The Montreat Cavaliers Women's Basketball team welcomes newcomer Taylor Settlemyre from
McDowell High School in Marion, North Carolina. Taylor averaged 9.6 ppg, 4 apg, 3.8 rpg, and 2.3 spg. She was named to the MAC All-Conference Team in 2012, the Freedom Invitational All-Tournament Team in 2011, MAC All-Tournament team in 2011 and All WNC Honorable Mention in 2012.

 

Amber Fullbright also joins the Cavaliers for the 2012-2013 season. Also coming from McDowell High School, Amber averaged 5.3ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.2 apg, and 1.3spg as a Lady Titan.

 

Head Coach Craig Jackson said, "We are excited to have another two players from McDowell High School join our program. Amber and Taylor both possess skill sets that will serve them well as they transition into college basketball."
